Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®)

Real estate guidance for divorcing couples, and a trusted resource for the attorneys and mediators who represent them.

Divorce brings enough uncertainty without adding confusion about what happens to the house. As a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®), Gabriel Oran has specialized training in the financial, legal, and timing considerations unique to buying, selling, or dividing property during a divorce. He works alongside attorneys, mediators, and financial professionals to give divorcing clients clear, neutral guidance at a difficult time.

What is a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert?

A Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®) is a real estate professional trained specifically to support the real estate side of a divorce case, an emerging specialty within family law. Gabriel earned his CDRE® designation through the Ilumni Institute's certification program, a rigorous, application-only course taught by a faculty of family law attorneys, mediators, mortgage professionals, and real estate experts.

Guided by the CDRE Code of Ethics, his role in a case is straightforward: reduce conflict, keep things moving efficiently through the courts, and give both attorneys and their clients a trained, neutral resource they can rely on.

How a CDRE® Supports the Family Law Process

CDREs bring three things to a family law case:
